Cruise was my first Border Collie and taught me a lot about dog training. He was a wonderful obedience dog, tons of herding drive and was always full of himself. He came from the famous CooperLane Kennels owned by Edgar Gould. Edgar was a man of few words but so knowledgeable about Border Collies and herding. He imported Cruise’s sire from Scotland after the dog had won several herding championships over there and I was honored to meet both Edgar and Craig. There will always be a special place in my heart for Cruise.
